Click 3X and ClickFire Media Dominate Creativity International Awards with MTV

As a testament to the success of their recent collaborations with MTV, Click 3X nabbed a bevy of awards from the 40th Creativity Media Competition. The West Side Story-inspired 2009 VMA Promos, directed by Seyi Peter-Thomas with visual effects, design, and animation led by Click 3X VFX Creative Director/Lead Flame Artist Mark Szumski, picked up a Platinum award in the Consumer TV Single Unit Category. The theatrical spots boast some of the top singing talents in the industry –Taylor Swift, Katy Pery, and Ne-Yo to name a few—and were shot in versatile locations and incorporated elaborate New York-inspired sets.
Also taking home a Platinum in the Website Public Service or Non-Profit category was GYT: “Get Yourself Tested, MTV’s Public Awareness Campaign for STD testing. Working with the Kaiser Foundation and MTV’s public affairs department, ClickFire Media contributed extensively to the campaign through their creation of new web content the front-end and back-end design and development and a Facebook app. The site, http://www.itsyoursexlife.com/gyt, took the online community by storm, showing up on popular blogs and establishing a fierce social media presence.
Additionally, MTV’s See You Sunday Bumper campaign, the individual See You Sunday spot "Anticipation," and ABDC's "Worship," won awards with Worship taking home a Silver in the Consumer TV Single Unit category and Anticipation and the Bumper campaign receiving accolades with honorable mentions. Promoting MTV’s Sunday programming, the all-out campaign featured hand-drawn animation over live-action from Click, and was directed by Evan Silver and Howard Grandison.
